8/9/2023 Wednesday Daily Diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:10 AM. Made up my bed, Cleaned up and brushed my teeth, changed into BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature for today is 93 degrees F. Started the first load of laundry wash at 5:30 AM. Started walking at 6:00 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: oatmeal, roll, milk and punch.

- Yoga.
- Walk 6 miles.

- ACE classes – Warehouse safety 4-4:30 PM, Hubble Space 5-5:30 PM, and Physics beyond the Edge 6-6:30 PM.

Picked up my commissary purchase at 8:10 AM, Spent $20.65. Ryan left for his halfway house in Oakland. Finished walking 6 miles at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: cheeseburger, fries, pudding, and punch. Called Doris at 10:45 AM: She sounded good and felt good. She was excited that she is visiting this Saturday around 11:00 AM. Bobo is better and is walking around with a limp, I asked Doris to put some ointment on her leg to help her arthritis and pain. I will email the restitution letter to Thomas Johnson and Doris, so Doris can follow up on this matter. Geok requested my address so she could send some Birthday wishes to me. Diana is coming by the house to check on Doris later.
Emailed restitution letter to Thomas Johnson and Doris at 12:00 PM. Ms. Tianto was at the unit at 12:35 PM for unit team meetings. Finished inmates’ laundry at 2:00 PM. Showered at 2:10 PM. Washed my own laundry. Sewed some ripped pants and torn jackets. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Spaghetti and ground meat, bread, spinach, salad, and punch. Finished my laundry at 3:50 PM. ACE classes – Warehouse safety 4-4:30 PM, Hubble Space – 5-5:30 PM, and Physics beyond the Edge 6-6:30 PM. Read at the library between 4:30 -7:00 PM, in between classes. Census count at 7:15 PM. Read Doris’ email that Bobo is walking well after they rubbed some ointment on her legs and she is walking better. Census count at 7:40 PM. Ms. Tianto left the unit after the count. Finished washing blanket and sheets at 7:50 PM. Cleaned up and brushed my teeth at 8:20 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and Bobo is doing well too. Walked 6 miles. Ryan left for Oakland. Sent restitution letter to Thomas Johnson and Doris. Attended three ACE classes.
