7/18/2023 Tuesday Daily Diary from Atwater camp.
Wike up at 5:00 AM. Made up bed, cleaned up, change to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel. high for today is 106 degrees F. Started the first load at 5:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: cereals, muffins, apples, and punch.

- Call Doris.
- ACE class Psychology 4-4:30 PM, Religious History 5-5:30 PM.
- Walk 6 Miles.
- Email daily Diary for 7/16/2023 to P. Professor and Doris.
- Read.
- Quotations.
Started walking from 6:00 – 8:00 AM, and completed 6 miles of walking for today. Emailed Daily Diary to Prison Professor and Doris. Counselor Reyes informed me that my Laundry work detail was approved on 7/16/2023. Regional Officers were on site to review the camp from 9:55 AM – 10:30 AM, they came by the laundry room and wonder where one of the ceiling caps was from. I pointed out to them it was used to cover up the electrical splice box. The laundry was done at 11:00 AM. Went to the library to read from 11:00 – 12:30 PM. Talked to Doris at 12:30 PM: She is well. Her eye treatment was approved by Medicare, so she will have her injection on 7/20/2023 Thursday. Kain is busy repairing the sprinkler system. I told her I enrolled in another ACE class – History of Religion 7/18/2023 5-6:00 PM. She inquired about the visitation pass, I told her it should be approved this week. My laundry work detail was approved yesterday. Went to read at the library from 12:50 – 2:30 PM. 2:30 PM I was paged by Counselor Reyes and the person approved on the visitation pass were: Diana, Annie Quang, Doris, Chris, and Karlee. Kain and Mava are still pending. Called Doris to inform her of the approved Visitation list. Read at the library from 2:50 – 3:20 PM completed “Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits”. Headcount at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu; Meatloaf, corn, mashed potato w/ gravy, bread and punch. 4-4:30 PM ACE class Psychology. 5-5:30 PM Religious History – The art of living well. Finished the book report at 6:30 PM. Court Time 7:05 PM. Count Time at 8:00 PM. Emailed Book report “Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits” to Prison Professor and Doris. Showered at 8:30 PM. Final Headcount at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good Day: Doris is well and her eye appointment was approved by Medicare. Visitation passes were approved. The laundry work details were approved yesterday. The sprinkler system was fixed by Kain. ACE class -History of Religion 7/18/2023. Completed reading, prepared book report, and emailed Book Report ” Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits”.
