The morning started out bright, clear, calm and warm. The sun was already over the Sierras. The lower atmosphere was hazy. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields but Labrona was grazing outside the fence. the squirrels appeared just before breakfast but had to wait until after breakfast to beg for food. As the morning progressed, a slight breeze developed making it nice for walking. Walked 5 miles and jogged the final mile. Completed 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 5 seconds. The average walking times were: 11 minutes and 51 seconds per mile or 1 minute and 59 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I sweated and ha to walk a few laps to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practiced my Yoga at the basketball court until 8:25 AM. The yoga practice was good as I get to exercise all phases: strength, balance, flexibility nd breathing. Ended my practice with the corpse pose and visualized my trip to Chicago on Route 66, walking among old American Icons at various towns. Opened my eyes to the bright blue sky, the full moon was in the Western Sky. Attended Advanced Spanish lesson from 8:30 – 9:30 PM. Theme for today was Life after prison (Vida despues de la prision). Talked to Doris at 9:30 AM: Doris is well and rested. She had a good visitation and was tired yesterday.
