The dawn sky (el elba, la madrugada) was emerging, the sky (el cielo) was clear except for some sparse cirrus clouds (el nubes) in the mid sky over the Sierras, it was cool (hace fresco),, the weather was good (hace buen tiempo). The beautiful analogous colors radiated out of the sun (el sol) path: red, orange, yellow, gold, seafoam green, light blue, blue and dark blue sky, some alto cirrus clouds were tinted in peach and mauve colors and those clouds (el nubes) on the sun path was brilliantly gold color. the rabbits were grazing on the soccer field and baseball field, Labrona was grazing by the basketball court, I fed an apple core to her. As the sun (el sol) emerged, the golden sphere illuminated the clouds near it to golden and peach colors, some cirrus clouds burnt off. As the rabbits left the fields, Labrona stayed by the basketball court to graze. The walk (el caminar) was good in the morning sunshine (salida del sol). Completed walking 5.5 miles and jogged (correr) final half mile at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 50 seconds per mile( Mila) or 1 minute and 58 seconds per lap (vuelta). The pace was fast (rapido) and I worked up a sweat, good to get the heart rate up. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine (luz del sol) until 8:00 AM. Had a nutty bar, an apple and celery for snacks. Attended Spanish Lessons at 8:30 AM. Called Doris a couple of times but could not connect with her. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: nachos, mixed vegetables, corn, an apple and water. Census count at 10:00 AM. Showered at 10:10 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Checked email form Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 7566 steps, 15.9 inches step length and symmetry was 85%. Yesterday was her 89th consecutive days she closed the ring. She will be visiting with Diana today. She asked me to call her for ETA. They left the house at 8:00 AM. Tried calling Doris but could not connect. Doris arrived at the visitation room at 10:30 AM: Doris and Diana are well. Christina drove them here. Doris briefed me on her dealings with Thomas Johnson and Doris handled it well. She has an eye appointment with Dr Scott Lee to check into the swelling in her eyes, the swelling was probably due to the cold medicine she took to suppress her cough. They asked for the keys to the side gate, I told them it was in together with my car keys and there were also keys in the Decoy Duck where I keep my keys. patches locked the padlock and forgot where she left the key. The key is bronze copper color and about 1 1/2 inches long. I told them to use some WD 40 on the lock as it has not been opened for a while. They asked about the garlic plants on the right-hand side of the yard. I said we also have some onions and bak choy growing too. I told them the bush at the right of the planter box was lime. I told them to periodically check the sprinklers to ensure that sprinkler heads did not pop out during the hot weather. Doris was happy as there are tomatoes on the plants. the fruit trees at the bottom of the yard are bearing fruits, I told them it should be ready in end of May or June. Kein has been on a carnivorous all meat diet for some time, his cholesterol is high. They looked at some halfway houses in Oakland and they were in bad neighborhoods. I told them it was by Lakeshore Theatre and has a parking lot by it. They asked it there is any chance I might get our earlier that 12/2/2024, I told them very unlikely. I have unit team meeting in May, hopefully I will confirm my departure date. Doris and Diana left the visitation room at 2:30 PM. It was a very good meeting. We had Dr Pepper, Grape drink, potatoes chips and chocolates for snacks. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, hot dog bun, pasta, mixed vegetables and water. ACE Classes – Neuro science 1, 5-6 PM (Hosting) and US history 1604 – 1800, 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM.
