The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy and cool – 46 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, the full pink/cream colored moon was in mid sky setting towards the West and the breeze made the temperature cooler. The autonomous car company had their flood lights turned on but not their facility lights, they were no testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were also grazing on the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; red band of haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; the pink/cream colored full moon was in mid sky and setting toward the West. I walked the trial on the soccer and baseball fields. The full moon set to the West as the sun rise over the Sierras. The sun illuminated the Sierras giving it depth, it changed colors as it ascended through the haze and warmed the air. Breakfast was late today, the birds and squirrels were waiting for their food, the inmates discarded their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The birds and squirrels shared their food. Completed walking 3 miles and jogged the final three miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 2 seconds per mile or 2 minutes per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk, I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, colorful sunrise and the pink/cream colored moon. Opened my eyes to the blue sky. Talked to Doris at 8:40 AM: Doris is well and rested. She found my Hoka sandals. I told her I saw the Spring April pink moon. The weather was nice in Pinole but the dogs are still in their dog house. GSW is playing the Los Angeles Clippers today. I told her we will probably be blacked out due to broadcasting rights. She will stay home today. I will work on my book reports. Walked another two miles. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: 2 fried eggs, pancake with syrup, French fries, pear and water. Census count at 10:00 AM. Walked an additional four miles on the soccer field trail until 11:00 AM. The squirrels were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields. The autonomous car company were maintaining and testing their vehicles. Several inmates were practicing their soccer skills while others were working out on the basketball court and walking on the trails. The barber shop was busy. Visitation was not too busy today. Showered and changed to casual clothes at 11:30 AM. Had a short nap. Checked email from Doris at 12:30 PM: Doris is well. She walked 9,376 steps, 16.9 inches step length and symmetry was 8.4%. Yesterday was the 423rd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She reminded me that one more weekend before my release to the half way house. I gave away a pillow, 2 pairs of gloves, head band and ankle wrap to Shane. I am slowly getting rid of some of my possessions to other inmates. Several inmates were having a pickle ball game at the basketball court. Unfortunately, the game between the GSW and Los Angeles Clippers was blacked out in Atwater, due to licensing and broadcasting rights. Went to the library to work on my book reports. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: chicken parmigiana, spaghetti with alfredo sauce, green peas, bread and water. Census count at 7:00 PM. census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
