2/9/2024 Friday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local new and weather report, high temperature for today is 52 degrees F. Started walking at 6:05 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:15 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, cinnamon roll, an apple and water.

Plan For Today:

1) Stretch.

2) Call Doris.

3) Check email from Doris.

4) Email daily diary for 2/8/2024.

5) Walk 6 Miles.

6) Split Stretch.

7) Quotations.

8) ACE Classes – Understanding Trust and Wills 6:30 – 7:00 PM.

9) GED / ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM.

Completed walking 6 miles at 7:45 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 4 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 4 seconds per mile (milla) or 49 seconds per lap (vuelta). The morning started out dark, clear sky but cold, in the low 40’s. The moon was not visible but the Northern Star was visible. As the dawn sky appeared, there were some low dark clouds over the Sierras and some alto cirrus clouds in the mid sky. The band of clear area above the Sierras was bright red, followed by dark blank clouds and deep blue sky. As the morning progressed, the color changed from reddish orange, dark grey clouds and blue sky. As the sun begin to emerge over the Sierras, it radiated its rays and illuminated the dark clouds and gave it a tint of brownish orange with yellow rays radiating outwards. The fiery orange sphere emerged, lighting up the sky. As it rise further and was shielded by the clouds. As it resumed its ascend and cleared the clouds and warm the air. The rabbits were out in droves grazing on the field, several of them ventured by the basketball court. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunlight. Finished stretching at 8:15 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Had some donuts, nutty bar and celery for snacks. Went to sewing room to trim and hem pants, Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: fried fish sandwich, green beans, an apple and water. talked to Doris at 10:50 AM: Doris is well. She cleaned the yard and took out the trash cans. She asked if I was working tomorrow, I told her not on Chinese New Year, And she will be visiting tomorrow. She will email me before she leaves the house at 8:30 AM. I will try to call her for ETA. She has everything ready for the visitation. She walked some in the morning and will walk more in the afternoon. I reminded her she has closed the ring for the last two weeks. I told her to keep it up. I told her I will be busy with GED/ESL Tutoring and ACE Class tonight. She will eat the food that Kein brought over, I told her she can have a Dr Pepper but she will leave it until I get home. I told her we will have Dr Pepper tomorrow. I will call her tonight to wish her a Happy Reunion Dinner.

Showered at 11:00 AM and changed to BOP uniform. GED /ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Went to sewing room to sew and hem until 3:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Casserole, bread, an apple, beans and water. Exchanged blanket for Phoenix. Exchanged 40X30 pants for Armand. Exchanged shirt for Rickey. ACE Class – Basic understanding of Will and Trust 6:30 -7:00 PM. Talked to Doris at 5:30 PM: Doris is well, she just completed walking 6329 steps, step length was 14.3 Inches. She has closed the ring on her iPhone app for 19 consecutive days. She just had her shower and was getting ready to have dinner. Norma will pick her up at 8:00 AM because of construction on I -680. I will call her for ETA. She is ready for visitation tomorrow. I went to the library to work on my Spanish lessons. It was beautiful sunset, just as spectacular as the sun rise. Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.

Today was a good day: Doris walked 6329 steps with step length of 14.3 Inches. I slept all night long only getting up at 5:00 AM. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Good GED/ ESL tutoring classes. Attended ACE Class. Doris visitation tomorrow on Chinese New Year day.
