Friday was great!!! We hosted our first event and it was a real success! Everyone was encouraged to come out and be a part of our community while enjoying the fun and humor of our DRAG RACE!! Everyone came to watch and several signed up to join in and dress up. It was incredible! People are so creative it is seriously super amazing. We got so much positive feedback and the girls had a ton of fun. One of the ladies stopped me after the show and said “tonight was something she couldn’t wait to call home about” and she would “remember it forever as something fun and positive that she was a part of in prison that she could talk about when she gets home.” I love that. Making good memories for people to remember when they are one day out of this place and are thinking back. What a great feeling!
