The first thing I am working on is the selection of books offered to SHU inmates and how often they are rotated. I am running a survey of my own here at this institution to see what people want to see more of down there but also I want to know how they think those authors or genres or titles will help them to progress while they are there. As of right now there isn’t many books down there that have philosophers or even biographies of leaders and such but Im trying to work with the lady in education to fix that. She said just to run her my ideas and maybe we could come together to figure it out.
