I would like to respond to Today’s Question: How do the educational credentials you’ve earned influence your prospects for success upon release?
I have only graduated high school in 2010. However, I have recently found a college that will let me complete a 2 year course and become a certified paralegal! I am extremely excited about this and it will influence my prospects for success upon my release because I want to work with a non-profit volunteering my time to help incarcerated people who need legal help and do not have the funds. I believe strongly everyone deserves to receive legal aid and because of this chance to go back to school, I will be able to help provide that.
