Are we headed in the right direction? A lot of us assume that we are. Life takes us through a journey and sometimes we make the wrong turn. When we get off course and become lost, we sometimes lose sight of our destination. Direction is lost and we just keep getting farther and farther away from the road we began traveling on. That’s when we have to turn on our GPS navigational system of common sense. Other people have made this journey and can give us direction. Certain roads we have traveled before, and know that this is not the route we should be taking. We must pay attention to the signs that inform us of the “dead ends,” “wrong turns,” “curvy roads,” “railroad crossings,” and whether or not animals will be crossing the highway. Life has a map for us to follow. Whether it is education, religion, or some person of wisdom, we must find direction. In a few more weeks, I’ll be following the direction of the path that I have chosen to better my life as I help others find their way. I’m prepared for the journey.
