It’s been a while since I’ve written a journal entry. I’ve been super busy with school. I’ve been happy to see that I’ve been doing well with my classes though. All my assignments that I get back have all been A’s. This is definitely a new feeling for me because I’ve always seemed to struggle with school, but I think I can definitely get used to it! I’m about to finish my English rhetoric class and I have received the textbooks for the 5 new classes I’m starting this semester. So I have that to look forward to as well as the 7 Habits class that should be finally starting soon. I was beginning to have doubts about if it was actually going to end up happening but it looks like I just needed to be patient. I received word from education that staff is being trained for the class and the actual program will be coming to the institution rather than just doing it as an ACE course (which would have been a lot less structured). I will have to make time in my schedule to do it, but it’s helped me so much to reinforce the attitude of responsibility and trying to always improve myself that I feel like it’s kind of a moral imperative that I do it. Hopefully, I can help some other people do the same thing. The material is so good that it’s definitely a positive step for the institution and anybody who decides to take the class. I think just being involved with positive things like this will also be a good thing for me and something I can grow from. Hopefully, I can even get paid to do it because I’m like a broke college student right now, but even if I don’t, I’ll be doing it anyway. It’s not about the money, I would just like to do something good. That all for now though. I may post some more of the essays I wrote for My English class soon.
