In what ways can you use strategies to grow strength and prepare for success upon release?
Yesterday night I was so excited to see so many people receive your bundle of books in the mail. One of the ladies that signed up for Prison Professors was so excited to receive the books and the look on her face was great. At first she didn’t think they were for her because she doesn’t receive much mail. When she realized they were for her she grabbed the books sat at a table and immediately started peeling the tape off and looking through the books. I walked over to her table and told her how good I thought the books are. The people at her table all started looking through them also and it sparked their interest. About 4-5 people received the books in my unit last night and it was good to see so many people interested in success after prison. The momentum is building and I like to see that. More and more people are learning about the program and wanting to take advantage of the courses. This really excites me as the Peer Success Leader in my unit. I also find people while I am on the computer reading your newsletter and talking about Bitcoin it really motivates me to continue helping people with re-entry and just working on positive things for the future. I know with your books it is a great tool to help strategize and grow and prepare for success upon release.
