These are the responses for the critical thinking questions. Thank you for offering this course and to giving us a way to learn about new technologies in the world that we would not have been able to receive otherwise.

1.) As a software engineer myself and someone who has grown up heavily involved in keeping track of the progress in new technologies and the progress of personal computing from the 90’s and onward. From the age of 8 years old I started working on computers and taking them apart to learn troubleshooting and the way that personal computers worked. I am grateful that I have a very close relationship with my mother who is also a technologist in her own way as she holds a B.S of IT. She and I are always discussing how technology and our monetary system are evolving in our economy. I also have a group of friends here in prison and we are always discussing the pricing of the stocks of digital currencies and there current standings. I also read as much material I can on the shifting markets.

2.) In the future, as it has most recently over the past 25 years the technology will further integrate into society and into peoples everyday lives. From fast food markets to airline attendants, phone technology and personal device technology will become more and more integrated as innovation finds ways to insert itself into markets that have not yet seen it integrate.

3.) I believe that the best way for me to be most valuable using digital skills upon my release is to be ready to integrate with the latest technology. To gain the best understanding of how, where, and why new innovation and technology is being used and to continue to seek ways that I can stay on the fore-front of thinking of new ways that I can create innovative uses for the new tech as it is being developed while I am away.
