Newsletter: Today’s question
Already I am finding out that receiving and answering your emails each day have given me a short-term goal to achieve every time I log on to the computer and see I have a message. in a way you are a resource that I am building on that has given self confidence. it also helps me work on my typing skills and speed because I am not wealthy and need to get done with my response in a timely manner to I don’t waste tru-units. also, your community, which I count myself a new member of, has continually sent me material to read since I’ve been communicating with your team that has helped me also.
In addition to finding resources I recently reconnected with my father after he had been out of the picture for many years of my life. now as I have been talking with him more often through phone and letters he now helps me financially and says he is readying a place for me should I need one when I get out. It would be great to finally get to know him and live with him when I get out. not only that but my cousin also works at a program facility geared towards native Americans that leave the halfway house giving them a place to stay and making sure they have rides to work everyday. He also counsels to those with personal relation problems so they don’t fall into the daily drama with their significant others that can lead to many problems if left alone, especially if their communication skill are damaged by being locked up for so long. So I have been building these resources for myself as my sentence draws nearer and I hope that through the rest of my bid, you and your team can continue to encourage and help me stay on the path to self rehabilitation and sobriety. thank you.
