For all the news is saying about oversight committees in prison it is laughable if real people weren’t getting hurt every day in prison. here in Thomson i know personally a young man who unfortunately looks like a young teenager, has autism, and at a prison were he was surrounded by child molestors and sexual deviants. he filed three PREA reports against three different other inmates and nothing was done to protect him. the first was a mexican called Speedee who would come into his room and grab his butt asking when he was goin start selling it so he could have first dibs. he would do this every day until threatened with violence. the second was a texan called Red who came in while he was sleeping and fondled his butt utnitl he pee’d on himself, he couldnt remember the day or hour so the staff didnt believe him and nothing was done. the last incedent involved a homosexual pedophile named Christisn who knew this kid was in debt and was being pressured to pay so he offered to give him 50 dollars in stamps to grope his butt and genital area through his pants. later he became suicidal because of what he did and staff still does nothing to prevent any of these things going on. even when reported in these situations the reports went ignored or they think the person is playing victim and crying wolf. but in all actuality these things happened and happen every day.
