Book Report

Why I chose to read this book?

The reason I decided to read this book is because I want to become more educated with investing and financial literacy. This author is fantastic at simplifying the fundamentals of being an investor and what it takes to be financially successful. After reading the first book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” I felt a desire to continue to read the literature and expand my knowledge of money.

What did I learn from reading this book?

First I learned to take the proper amount of time to evaluate my life and decide what financial goals I want to accomplish. To do diligent research on a financial coach or mentor that has completed some of the similar investing that I want to do. During the book I learned the difference between fundamental investing and technical investing. Learned the importance of educated myself on the subjects I am weak at such as business, finance, accounting, corporate law, and taxes. A detailed description of the different type of investors: accredited, sophisticated, inside investor, and the ultimate investor. Another important part is to do your due diligence in every investment you are involved in.

Why the lessons you learned will influence higher prospects for your success upon release.

This book gives me a blueprint of the different subjects I need to learn to become educated in investing. If I continue to learn these subjects it will help me prepare for success after prison. Every book will continue my knowledge towards success.
