Harvard Business Review (HBR) On Managing You!
This book was recommended to me by one of the Financial Management and Home buying course instructors. I am so happy that he gave me this book.
This is an awesome collection of articles!
I cannot believe how rich and thorough these articles are and how much the information is so helpful. I will place all of what I have learned from these to my career going forward.
This book provided you real life studies, situations and actions that we all should follow as managers and leaders in our own lives as business professionals and owners. How we should take care of ourselves and our families is stressed in this book. Our interaction with others is a part of doing business and leading as well.
I was asked to do a class as a result of sharing what I learned from this book with the instructor of the Personal Growth class. I was impressed with the recent studies and research on Emotional Intelligence. This is a very real study and it has been proven as a factor in the leadership of company and how it affects the culture in the workplace. I look forward to teaching what I have discovered and will outline and share with the class in just a few weeks from now.
The research and studies on how Emotional Intelligence affects the subordinates and peers in the workplace in very important and more leaders should have this taught to them as a requirement in the efforts of creating much better, safer and productive workplaces in any industry.
There is always a human aspect in the business world and we must never forget that. This book has a collection of experiences from professionals that have “been there, and done that” and they pass it along to us in this book of wisdom.
I promise to apply what I have read to my life once I am back in the world of business.
Great Book!
God Bless,
