My book report is on the book titled:
DANIEL THE PROPHET
DANIEL MAN OF GOD
By Dwight L. Moody
I love this book regarding the story found in the old testament of the bible in the book of Daniel.
This book tells of the stories that was shared on the old testament, but D. L. Moody shares a modern day message for men and Christians. God will promoted us all when the time is right. We should not be too aggressive when it comes to climbing the ladder headed to success, because if you are blinded by the ambition and not enjoying the journey and considering the lessons learned along the way, it is likely that you will become filled with pride or get side tracked by unfruitful things that will cause a crash.
Le t God put us where He wants us and let us be true to God. It is better for a man to be right with God, even if he holds no great earthly position.
There is nothing wrong with having goals, dreams and a drive to achieve greatness in this life, but do not do it alone, allow God to be the center of your life and acknowledge Him in all things. This book illustrates what Daniel did and how he behaved. It also points out what Daniel did not doo to include the three (3) Hebrew boys as well. Their conduct and character caught the King’s attention and they were raised up to high levels within the King’s administration. Few men in history are like the Hebrew boys.
The principles the Daniel had can be implemented in all of our lives. I loved this book it was a very short read but a powerful one and I am ready to implement integrity, honor, loyalty, and faith back into my everyday life. I am ready to be a great man, one that God can use and make an example out of in these last days as it is referred to in the Holy Bible.
I am sure that when I implement the commandments in my life that God will take notice and exalt me in due season if I remain faithful and dedicated to Him and His words found in the Holy Bible.
Very short book, but very good to read.
