I chose to read this book because I was intrigued with Robert Kiyosaki’s first book Rich Dad Poor Dad. Since Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki are highly successful entrepreneurs I believed this book could give me some insight that would prove useful when I start my own business.
From this book I learned about the Midas Touch which the authors likened to a hand. Each digit of the hand representing an important aspect to success as an entrepreneur. The thumb being strength of character, index finger F.O.C.U.S., middle finger brand, ring finger relationships and the pinky finger the little things that count. Both Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump give real life examples on each aspect of the Midas Touch that show how important they are to building a successful business. I learned about the B-I triangle which illustrates the 8 integrities of business. On the outside of the triangle you have team, leadership and mission. These integrities will give your business it’s structure. Then there are five integrities on the inside of the triangle product, legal, systems, communication and cash flow. These five are elements of a businesses operation. The authors suggest that if you are serious about becoming an entrepreneur you should take sales training, search for systems that can expand your business and learn how to invest in real estate using debt.
Midas Touch contributes to my prospects for success upon release by detailing important aspects to running a successful business. Understanding how great business minds such as Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki approach there business endeavors is a real eye opener. This is a book that I will look back to in reference to achieve the most from my future business.
