Book Report

I had interest in reading this book because real estate investing seems like a great path toward financial stability. Before my incarceration I had considered buying properties to fix up and rent out but did not take the time to learn more about the entire process. Although I will lack the capital to get started, real estate investing is something I see myself doing in the future.

Financial Freedom with Real Estate Investing has a wealth of information. I learned things like in order to speed up the process toward financial freedom that investing in multi family dwellings such as duplex’s on up to apartments is the quickest way to do so. Multi family dwellings generate far more passive income than single family homes. I’ve also learned ways to raise money and find investors through networking or attending local REIA gatherings. This is especially important to me because once I get back to society I know the amount of capital I will have available to invest will be limited. After raising money this book takes a step by step approach to buying your first investment property. It explains how to analyze deals, make offers on those deals, how to determine if a deal is good and how to close on a deal while protecting yourself with the proper legal attorneys. When I am able to begin searching for investment properties I will make sure to use this book as an immediate resource.

Reading Financial Freedom with Real Estate Investing gave me insight on how successful real estate investors work which increases my prospects for future success because this is a field I know I will be working in. Michael Blank also offers free online courses and also a coaching program that I will utilize to my advantage when my time comes. This book has piqued my interest in commercial real estate and I will be looking for similar books in the future.
