This book speaks largely to our inner voice. It teaches that as children we are in tune with our instincts. As we grow older, we gain knowledge but it is tainted with lies from the “great liar”.
The goal the author wants us to strive for is to prevent the voice from telling you negative things (lies) about yourself and to train it to tell you more positive things.
I feel like I would have had a better understanding of the book had I read the author’s prior book, “The Four Agreements”. Some of his practices that I think would be beneficial to me were still outside my understanding.
