Why I Read: I picked up this book for two reasons. #1 I am trying to get away from fictional reading into non-fiction in order to learn and not just pass time. #2 it’s about Winston Churchill, a monumental figure of leadership during a trying time.
Summary: This book takes readers through the first year of Churchill’s reign as Prime Minister of England. It showcases how great men become great leaders in the midst of great trials.
What I learned: I learned a lot about what it takes to rise to the occasion and lead by example.
