My name is Sharon Y, Johnson born March 15,1964 and I reside in Chester, VA. I have a 51 months sentence and I am release this year. I am here for Medicaid Fraud. Never married and I have one daughter and 3 grand sons. Both of my parents are deceased. I am located in FM Lexington, at the Federal Medical Center with a 51 months sentence. I have worked at the Veteran Administration in Washington, DC and I worked for Sodexho Marriott for 17 years as a Director of Food and Nutrition and I was a contracted worker for the State Department and I started my own business as Sharon Y Johnson and Associates in Chester, VA. I was a service facilitator and I was a liaison between Dmas and the Managed Care organizations with my clients where I certified personal care and respite care hours for elderly clients. I also had a unlicensed group home where I took care of 50 homeless people. I have extensive knowledge of the health care system. I plan to continue with my education and possibly get a master’s in Health Care Policy Administration. While I have been in Lexington at the camp I have worked in religious service with several organizations such as Sister Circle, Choir, Bible study with Emmanuel Baptist Church on Wednesday, Thursday’s Bible study again and Friday, I teach a class of Praise and Workshop where I am working trying to empower young women in Prison, and I started Celebration of Life where every three months we have a ceremony of life for prisoners where they lost someone. I am a volunteer for religious services and I clean the chapel once a week. I have started a prison reform group where we have 10 individuals who are professional women in the health care field who are trying to bring awareness to the injustice behaviors that the judges are giving to Health Care Professional’s. We have join the Dublin group coalition to work together as a team this group of women will be working together for Justice Reform for Women. I love to travel and the beach and I feel that I got the short end of the stick being a women of color.
