My name is Robert Stollings, #42928-018, Im currently in Texarkana TX, I am starting off by saying that I am a sex offender, ( reason for saying this seems everyone judges before knowing everything) #18:2251(B) I began my sentence in USP Coleman and since have worked my way down to the low here, I got here Dec 23, 2023. When I was first incarcerated I was introduced to the gangs there and got into trouble right off cause I was told that’s how to survive. I went to the Shu and stayed there from USP to USP until I got the chance to go to USP Tucson where I made up my mind to start doing the right things, I joined the Challenge program there and was the first to help open it up. once completed I was transferred to a medium at Marianna Florida, where I got into the plumbing shop and also in between HVAC. I took classes to learn and became the #1 plumber teaching others the trade and also before leaving teaching even the staff about the plumbing process there, I was in the apprenticeship for plumbing but was cut short when the hurricane hit us in 2018 there, once I got back and covid was over it was too late to finish the course, I do have plans when I get out to keep going on it while working other places, I’m a mason by trade. I’ve always been positive throughout my sentence 19 years already even when the case managers and counselors even say I got nothing coming, no first step act not even a second chance act, I never knew how to fight any laws I never tried, I’m presently trying for a relocation to Toledo Ohio, with my best friend and his family, as for I got sentenced in Florida where I’m not from they don’t offer nothing to SO”s not even halfway houses. My friend Rudy has talked with different people willing to give me a start at returning to society. jobs and help. by not giving up and doing good helping others I have accomplished a lot, I’ve helped people with their problems and stayed positive the whole time, I’ve won my friends and my grown kids and grandchildren back, I’m making plans to better myself and never be caught up in here again if all goes as planned and I do make it to Ohio where I know I’ll make I plan to offer my help to people also in these places who have nobody to turn to, I’m presently in a class I just started Thursday last week, its 1 of your books, Preparing for success after release workbook.
