I am 42 years old and was arrested for Conspiracy to distribute meth. I plead out to Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth and received 120 months. Before being arrested I was caught in the grips of addiction and made a lot of poor choices to support my addiction and criminal lifestyle. Since my arrest, I have had a chance to gain a clear mind and can now see how powerful addiction really is and how it can alter your judgment. I am currently at FCI Aliceville awaiting a transfer to participate in the F.I.T. Program. The Female Intergrated Treatment Program which is a year long residential program for trauma as well as the drug abuse program. I am also currently reaching out to colleges to gain acceptance into them to work towards earning an engineering degree. I also work at the prison’s UNICOR. I have completed numerous classes during the year and a half that I have been incarcerated.
