Biography Entry: Nichole Lynn Freeman

What are my plans when I get out? Well, I began to brainstorm this question only very recently. For the last 33 months of my sentence, I focused more on just getting through each day. Now, I recognize the importance to have a plan and execute it to get the best out of life and become a productive member of society. The decisions I make now are impacting the goals I am striving to reach. I am actively seeking guidance, from a modified therapeutic community to FSA and ACE classes. Anything I can learn from. I am choosing to stay sober. I am choosing to separate myself from toxic people and build connections with those I value.

The goals I have upon release are: Stay sober, Get a job, Maintain a job, complete halfway house time, get an apartment for myself and my child, go back to school, and become a drug and alcohol counselor.
