Hello, my name is Michael D. Moore Sr. I am originally from Chocowinity NC, a former native of Raleigh NC. I attended SouthSide High School in Chocowinity, attended Berklee College of Music in Boston MA at age 16, and received my certification in credit counseling from the National Association of Credit Counseling during my college years. 2019 I was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for armed bank robbery in the 4th Circuit Eastern District. In spite of my past mistakes, I wake up every day with full intentions in having a stronger, more fulfilling, purposeful, and successful future. Since my sentencing, I became a student at the International Christian College and Seminary located in Debary FL, where I am completing courses towards an associate’s degree in theological studies. November 15 2022 I was ordained as a minister and named the very first overseer Universal Life Chruch has ever ordained in prison. For over a year I have served as the head orderly for the music program for FCI Milan. Leading the program allows me to not only to create and grow musically but to continue to mature personally and appreciate the special talents of others from various backgrounds.
