I am 50 years old, I began my Federal sentence on May 12, 2022. I spent 16 months prior to that in Federal holding. During my time in Federal holding I began writing a biography of my time their and what in my life had led me to that point. I began my sentence in Greenville Illinois where I attended a seminar that was given by Mr.. Santos himself I was extremely impressed by Mr.. Santos and his accomplishments and found myself wanting to be successful as well. I signed up for Success After Prison which Greenville began to offer and was transferred to a prison that does not,Alderson FPC. I have utilized most of my prison time gaining experience and education in Dog training. I have a high drive and ambition to train dogs that later go into the community to assist veterans, limited mobility clients, PTSD clients, children that have experienced trauma, search and rescue, autistic children also autistic adults and surprisingly many other purposes. I have found great accomplishment in training these helpful hounds. I have a desire to further my education, gain a certification in both animal behavior and veterinary assistance in order to eventually begin my own non profit organization/ training facility. I am now doing self study workbooks sent to me by Mr. Santos, I am reading more self help books such as Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey, also a few others I will include in my book reports. Since my Federal incarceration I have addressed and met all my Needs I have earned over 24 certificates including a Serve Safe managers certification that is valid until 2027. I am expected to be in a halfway house by the end of this year which is located in Cleveland Ohio. I have a strong support system with my 93 year old Grandfather whom I will be living with once I become home confinement eligible,living in Madison Ohio. I have struggled with addiction my entire adult life it was not until I came to Federal Prison that I was able to both address and discover the traumas that led to the life style I led before. I have a strong desire to succeed, help the community and also follow the path of Prison Professors Talent.
