my name is Delvin Samuels, I am 36 years old. I’m an army brat if you want to call it that. My upbringing was very turbulent and unstable. abuse drugs and alcohol were a norm in my household. I’ve been in and out of the system since 13 years of age. As I grew older, I had to figure out life on my own. I lead a life mixed with crime, and career I believe. I learned skills and trade’s, but I resented authority and disliked working for people. this eventually led to the prison sentence I’m serving now. Since my beginning this sentence my mother, father \, and wife have passed. Not to mention friends. I’ve been in 6 years now and I’ve changed for the better, no incident reports lots of programming. I’m just trying to get back to my 4 children. I have a new outlook on life, and now that I’ve figured out the wrong things, I’m excited to get a fresh start and do the right things. thank you for this chance to get a head start
