My name is Daniel Lee Dixon, I am 41 years old, and about to reenter society for the 2nd time in 19 years. When I was 23 I was sentenced to 50 years in State prison for a crime I am innocent of and went to trial. After 15 years I won an appeal and got out. I was not out long when I picked a package up at a post office and caught this case. Being in prison for the first time for something I did do has been somewhat more difficult. My first incarceration I published two books: “When God Broke The Law: Miracles Of The Messiah”, and “Solitary Thoughts: Prayers and Ponderings.” My first bit, I worked at the gym, did a long time in solitary for assaults, and tried to survive. In doing so I created more addiction, more pain, and more struggles for myself…Upon release, I self-medicated to deal with leaving almost a decade of Maximum security and solitary confinement, and caught this conspiracy trying to feed my habit. This time I have chosen to press into programming and treatment, hoping that when released I will never be back. I will be 42 when I get out, and have the second half of my life ahead of me.
