I am located at Butner’s Camp. I self-surrendered March 23, 2020 with a sentence of 90 months. To date, I have received the maximum GCT of one year. I am eligible for my 85% GCT as well as the Elderly Offender Act. I am not eligible for RDAP. My projected release date is 8/25 and I am 62 years old with a Minimum Security Level. I am married. I have 4 College degrees consisting of a BS in Industrial Engineering and Management, BS in Mechanical Design Technology, a BS in Manufacturing Technology, and an AS in Advanced Mathematics. I have redesigned over 23 different airplanes for weight and cost savings in my 35 year career. I whistleblowed on a Fortune 500 company’s website on my fellow co-conspirators after they began stealing private data from said company as well as violating ITAR and EAR regulations when the Chinese Aviation Industry wanted to finance the technology that we as a team were developing. The FBI was listening to my anonymous phone call on the Fortune 500’s anonymous website and the local DA eventually trumped up additional theft charges on me. My attorney was horrible and now I sit in a Camp which unfortunately is not a standalone FPC. Low inmates are constantly being integrated amongst us white collar crime types to the point that we are now 90% Drug related inmates from the Low. I guess you can say that we are not a Camp anymore as we have fences and razor wire around our dorms. Because I am retired and living comfortably on my 401K, a pension, and the equity from the sale of my home I will not be requiring a job to continue my life. In addition, my wife, who is 19 years younger than me, has a very good job as a software network engineer. I just need to get out of prison to home confinement so that I can begin the USCIS paperwork on my wife’s citizenship. I also may offer my services to a University’s Cost Estimating curriculum as either a teacher or guest lecturer. And lastly, the aerospace technology that I was involved with creating has other uses and I have a patent pending on it. I was thinking about marketing the patent to the highest bidder as another means of making some money and staying busy.
