Biography Entry: Ashley T Glover

My experience in the BOP custody has been quiet an adventure if I do say so myself. Ups & downs. I’ve faced many obstacles. I’ve triumphed them one by one. In 2019 I received 210 months for a non-violent drug offense. You could say I went from slanging dope to slanging hope. This is only a minor setback for a major comeback. I’ve learned that in every L is a lesson. I will prevail. Where I am weak I am strong. I’m not a failure, and I never gave up. I set goals and I conquer them one by one. If I’m unsure I will obtain the knowledge needed to excel the plan. I have time! I’m figuring it all out. I clung to every opportunity presented to me during this bid. I’m a proud 2022 GED graduate here at FCI Aliceville. I then pursued in Vocational Training Cosmetology. I completed 1500 hours of service in 2023 that will go towards the state board test I complete upon my release. I’ve maintained steady employment along with more classes then I can list. I have utilized “my time” wisely hoping to shape me & mold me into the person I’m destined to be on my journey to success. I’m excited for my future. Life was dim. I’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m currently a mentor in the Women’s Peer Success Group. Being in this group is such an honor, and a privilege. Being that I’m a mother to four outstanding children, and four bonus I help others with Parenting from Prison, and staying active in the lives of there children.
