My name is Amanda Jane Lorentz. I’m currently serving a 20 year bid. I’m 38-year-old white female from a small town in east Texas. I’m a mother of three beautiful children. A daughter that’s 20 and two sons that are coming up on 18, and 16 years of age. The sad part is that they don’t even know me. Because I let being a product of my environment go to my head. I was a good mom don’t get me wrong. I let money, men, and drugs drive a wedge between doing and being better for their sake. I wouldn’t describe myself as being a Loser. I am the true definition of recidivism. I’d like to think I’m a goodhearted, dependable, loyal, God rearing individual. I know I have a greater purpose to fulfill in this life. I’ve got a deep pull within myself to become a mentor and activist for not only the younger generation but for all misguided souls that find their self in a continual spiral of misfortune. Being someone they can relate to without fear of being judged. Thinking you have no one a creating a sense that you are no one is a Dark place. I shouldn’t know so much about it, so here I am.
