My oldest son graduated from high school today! It was so special to see him on this special day and the culmination of so much hard work. I loved congratulating him and talking to him and his girlfriend afterwards while getting a few pictures as well. Also, before the ceremony, my second son came up and gave me a hug! He said he missed me and we both got teary eyed. I told him I’m always here for him, and we chatted for a few minutes. I hadn’t seen him and he hadn’t spoken to me since last summer. Hopefully starting to turn a corner here with the kids. Neither of my daughters wanted to visit, although I know they saw me there. I luckily avoided my ex-wife and her new boyfriend. I’m very thankful for this day and these interactions with the boys, and I will continue to pray for reconciliation with all my kids. All I can do is keep telling them I love them and support them through patience and prayers.
