After some reflection I realized that since i’ve been transferred to the low here at Lompoc my study time has went down drastically. At FCI Victorville we are locked down a lot more mostly due to the fighting that happens quite often. During those lockdowns I would pick books that I was interested in and I would spend time reading and taking notes on them. When I got here to Lompoc on May 6th I was surprised by how much yard time we got. I was used to Victorville where we go out for an hour and half once or maybe twice a day. I’m definitely happy about it but I also started realizing that I stopped taking time to study. That’s why I’m glad to have found Prison Professors Talent because it has renewed my energy and focus on bettering myself. It has also given me an outlet where I can track my progress and show people what it is I am doing. I have now made it a part of my morning routine to read for an hour first thing in the morning and also to reflect on what it is I am doing to better my life. Thank you!
