CHAOS AND CHANGE
The Director of the BOP has fired, 11 of the top 20 BOP executives including the acting BOP Director have resigned, the Union has ben disbanded and staff have lost their retention bonuses. UNICOR the factory responsible for training inmates and providing a nice sum of money to inmates is shutting down. We have been locked in our cells 20-25 days out of each month for the last 3 months due to these changes and staff shortages. The BOP is changing daily. Always something knew but not for the better. On the bright side all this time stuck in the cell gives me an opportunity to study my religion. As a Muslim we believe that everything that happens good or bad is God’s will. (Qadr) SO during these hard times I must remember to say Al-Hamdulilahi(praise be to Allah). Thanks ..LB
