CREDIT
I have been trying to get my credit fixed before I am released. I was a victim of identity theft several times it seems with the latest incident in 2022. I contacted the three credit bureaus and they removed most of the fraud accounts but not all.
It looks like someone purchased a vehicle in my name. I think i have to file a police report but I don’t think I can do that from prison. It has to bean inside job because they would have to show I.D. to buy a car. I might have to sue the company. This will be a barrier to my trucking company because I thought I could lease/finance some vehicles. I now will have to borrow the money from family and friends and buy a used vehicle to start. Prisoner are often targeted by fraudsters. Maybe I’ll try to write the local police station. I wrote the company but they never responded. So I’ll try to call. That’s the plan. Thanks..LB
