So today was my first official Town Driver trip to the town and train station.
Overall, it’s a great experience….from informing the CO at the main building that I am the Town Driver to watching visitors arrive to seeing both of my passengers show up to my friend saying “Jerry is your Town Driver.” It’s all very cool.
I found a much easier route to take back and forth which was much easier than what I was told. All of the CO’s are extremely helpful. Between both days, I interacted with 7 different CO’s and one police officer in town.
At the Camp, word got out that I am a town driver. People said “Oh wow, I didn’t know you were a town driver. That’s good!”.
At this moment, I am working tomorrow. I have no appointments yet, but can be called at any time.
Hey, when was the last time you were a Town Driver for Otisville Camp?
