It is so easy to be self sufficient, to rely on myself and my abilities. It is esteemed so highly in our society but it prevents us from embracing humility, and reaching out to others and building relationships and mutual benefit. Also it prevents us from taking time to help others and serve them. By serving others it gives us the opportunity to serve God and allow His power and provision to work through us.
