Sunday
Woke up at 7:30, took a shower and shaved. My family is here again visiting for the 2nd day. I know today is going to be very tough since they will be leaving but I have to enjoy the time that we do have. I got called to visiting right at 9, went out and went to visiting to get processed in. Kasey said dad I could see you in the window as I was waiting to get in. I got changed and processed in my family embraced me with open arms. I cry everytime I see them and everytime they leave. I know it’s only going to be about 8-9 months until I am out of here but I have never ever been away this long from them and it kills me especially when I see my wife, my 15 year old and my 5 year old crying. I never ever want to come back here again unless it’s to speak or something to other inmates that I could potentially help! I really need to focus on letting go of my past, I cannot change it and need to leave it behind like this place when I get out. Anyhow I visited from 9-1, I wanted them to get on the road so they wouldn’t be driving in the dark that much. I got back to the dorm at 1 and I was able to get to the gym at the 1pm move so I went to the gym until 2. A guy in my dorm made a cheesecake and shared it with a couple guys so we had that and then we just hung out in the gym and chatted until 2. Came back at 2 and took a nap until the 4pm count. Had count and went to dinner right at 5, had fried rice and it was pretty good! Went back to dorm and waited for church at the 6pm move. Went to church from 6-7 and then tried to go to gym at 7 but the door was locked so came back to dorm and finished watching Fast and Furious and just hung out until 10pm count. 10pm count came and I went to bed.
