The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy, slight fog and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, light fog in a distance, the 3/4 moon was in mid sky at 12 o’clock, the breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and Flood lights turned on, they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. Morning call out for Dublin orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were head out at 5:30 AM. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of reddish orange haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; the 3/4 moon was in mid sky at 12 o’clock. Early breakfast no wildlife appeared after breakfast so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The trails on the soccer and baseball fields were muddy so I decided to walk on the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth; it changed colors as it ascended through the haze; red, orange, yellow and bright yellow; and it warmed the air. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 30 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 25 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and as it evolved into the spectacular sun rise and the 3/4 moon in mid sky. Opened my eyes to the bright blue sky. Returned the exercise mat to the training room. Introduced Pedro Solana to education supervisor Johnson for an orderly position in the education department. Pedro was awarded the job and started immediately. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was clear and cold in Pinole. We greeted each other on our wedding anniversary – 37th. She asked if the computer room was reopened. I told her it will probably reopen on Friday or next Monday. She walked 9277 steps, 15.4 inches step length and symmetry was 8.7%. Yesterday was the 397th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will stay home to work on her Mother’s day inventory. I will be busy with GED tutoring, GED Class and ACE Classes tonight. Unfortunately, GSW lost their game to the short handed Denver Nuggets. They will play the Milwaukee Bucks tonight. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken patty sandwich, salad, green beans, rice , blue berry pie and water. Had a short nap. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 AM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. Worked on my EBRR Class Reports. Census count at 3:30 PM. Found out the computer room was reopened by Mr Larsen. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pepper beef, rice, green beans, bread and water. ACE Classes Spanish 5:30-6:00 PM and Geography and Travel, Asia 6:00-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
