Why did I decide to read The Let Them Theory?

I decided to read this book as it was recommended by my daughter. I was told it would help me navigate personal and family relationships and the fact that making new relationships in prison is very important.

What did I learn by reading Let Them?

I learned how to protect my precious time and energy by adopting the Let Them Theory into my daily routine, vocabulary and life. Doing so, it allows me to focus on what matters most to me, which is myself and my Core 7. For example, saying “Let Them talk about me” and letting go of what normally would bother me, and then and most importantly saying “Let me meet new friends in my Temple who have similar backgrounds” is me then taking control of the circumstance. I can see myself using Let Them and Let Me theories in my family life, prison life, and work life.

What about reading Let Them will contribute to my success upon my release?

Reading this book has taught me to protect myself from stress other people have caused me and to start putting myself first no matter what others may say about me.

My priority is to align my thoughts and actions with integrity and high values ultimately making me proud of myself everyday. Being proud of myself, connecting with others who have the same high standards of integrity and morality will undoubtedly help me propel my life’s journey for only good upon my release.
