Biography: Rhonda Muncy
At the age of 55, in June of 2022, I made the worst decision of my life, to become a criminal. Drugs were being shipped o my home, thinking they were just a simple pill, not knowing that they had phytanyl mixed into them. I was sentenced in September of 2023, for conspiracy to sell drugs, receiving a 72 month sentence. I self surrendered on November 14, 2023. The worst day of my life was being told to step out of my car and follow behind the van up to the barbed wire fence, knowing I had disappointed my family during this process. I have been in prison for 15 month now and in this time. I have started working on a Business Plan to start a small online business upon my release. I have taken Business Development classes and resume writing with a mock interview. Now I’m committed to community service projects where I can earn a certificate for every 300 I complete of my time. I have joined the dog program “Pawsitive Purpose” wanting to complete my DOL animal training apprenticeship within the next year. I have been reading several business books and self help books. I want to be a better version of myself upon my release.
