Hello My name is Melissa Muniz Garcia. I am 48 years old, currently doing a 300 month sentence. I am in Aliceville, AL. going on my 3rd year already.Lets see where should I start off??? I ain’t too shabby with computers and modern technology. I didn’t graduate high school. I only made it to my freshman year. However i did complete my GED in 1998. Unfortunately, my past isn’t anything to be proud of. My childhood was normal up to the age of 12. Then things went in wrong starting with some sexual abuse to, drugs, and then physical abuse. Although i cant sit here and lie and feel sorry for myself. I do take responsibility for all my bad decisions. I know i hurt a lot of people and most of my loved ones for all of my past mistakes. I am very determined to change my way of living and prepare for a better future for myself and my children. I have plenty of time to change my ways and thinking and hope that this program here can assist me in making a much better path. So I am totally willing to be more productive and motivated to join in this program. Like I mentioned before I ain’t to familiar with a lot of modern technology and the programs and other opportunities but I am willing to try my best so please be patient with me.
