Defining personal success has been a struggle for me because I was not really sure what it did mean to me literally,
After reading a book Sent in by Michael Santos, I have broadened my view on this statement thus spending a little more time reflecting so…
Success to me:
– Overcome obstacles found in prison life to get the maximum time credits for early release to getting home to family ASAP
– To have grown intellectually, spiritually, and have used the time served for my criminal behavior, professionally, coming out better than when I came in
– To have earned my G.E.D. and acquired any certificates in a higher learning field such as college, vocational training and or apprenticeships if possible
– To accomplish goals that detail a high aptitude
– To have acquired skills that can be utilized in the motivational speaking field I will be working in upon my release
– The successful publishing of my 1st book
This to me, defines my personal success
