The morning started out with work callout for food service workers at 5:00 AM. Food service workers went to the Penitentiary at 5:30 AM. The morning started out bright, hazy, breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with analogous colors radiating out from the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the orange sphere illuminated the outline of the Sierras into a picturesque scene and warmed the air. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. It was a cool morning for walking. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 12 seconds per mile or 2minutes and 2 seconds per lap. The pace was fast for walking as I was sweating and had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:30 AM. I was able to exercise all phases in my practice: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized my trip to Ipoh, Malaysia. We visited several Old Chinese Temples in Ipoh. Had Dim sum and Yong Tau Fu for lunch. Th lunch was delicious as the store was famous for their Yong Tau Fu. We visited several British Colonial Forts and residences of the high ranking officers. Opened my eyes to the bright Blue sky. Attended ACE Class Advanced Spanish from 8:30-9:30 AM. Theme for today was Daily Routine – Routina Darios. Good Spanish conversational class. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Scrambled eggs, pancake with syrup, fries, apple and water. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well an rested. She was walking in the backyard to: enjoy the weather, walk with her cast, let the dogs out and enjoy her tomato plants. I told her I will be working in the Penitentiary tomorrow and will not be able to call her in the morning. Francis was okay with the cleaning fees and he will be moving out next Saturday. I told her I will be busy with my Class and Book Reports. Diana is preparing for her colonoscopy examination on Tuesday. Doris has not visited me since July 20, 2024 because of the lockdowns. Checked email form Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8759 steps, 16.7 inches step length and symmetry was 73%, yesterday was her 209th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She texted Eric. She will be out in the yard to: enjoy the weather, walk with her cast, let the dogs out and enjoy her tomato plants. Showered and changed to casual clothes at 10:20 AM. Had a nap until 12:00 PM. Had a make up GED tutorial session with Gotti to go over his practice examinations. The tutorial session went very well and I insisted that he attend the tutorial session daily until the examination to help build up his understanding of Algebra. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, bread and water. Went to library to work on my ACE Class reports and book reports. Finished and submitted ACE class Reports on Beginning Spanish and Advanced Spanish. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM.
