Hello, my name is Jessica Villa and I am 45 years old. I am Hispanic and single, never been married. I only had one daughter who I lost in Nov. of 2018. She was 20 years old and past away from an overdose. The charge that I am currently serving I caught 6 months after she past. However, it was not my first drug charge.I have been an addict for close to 20 years. I have been to prison for state jail felonies and have served time in TDC. Those were all short sentences. This is by far my longest stent. I am working hard to change my behavior and cognitive thinking. I have completed LCP and every and all programs I can get into. Currently I read a book a day, work as a floor orderly in my unit, and teach U.S. History at night. Looking forward to any and all information I can gain. I do have some college. I was 3 hours away from receiving my associated degree in applied science. I was Suma Cum Latte and carried a 4.0 GPA. Thank you for your time and all your hard work. I really appreciate it.
