I received my first book on Thursday and spent the weekend reading it. I really love this book. I will be doing a book report to show a more in depth look into what I have gained from it. The thing I want to journalize about today is the way I have been approaching my justice impacted life the correct way. But I also realize that there is a lot to do and a lot more to learn. I look at myself as individual who is walking in the opposite direction than the flow of the rest of the population here. When I do this I am able to see how my daily activities show a path towards progress. A path towards success. I am able to lay out a solid foundation to build upon. I am very careful about everything I am doing to make sure I cover all the possible bases that is needed to be laid out so I don’t cause a crack anywhere in the foundation I am creating. If I let a crack develop anywhere I leave the potential for the crack to grow into a more serious problem in the future. Now this is not the same as making a mistake somewhere. Making a mistake will no longer be considered a mistake if I learn from it. It becomes a lesson. Now that I have read the book I am going back to do the workbook part and answer the self directive questions to help me uncover any possible cracks. Time to get to work and see where this leads me.
