The morning started out bright, clear, calm and cool. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with the analogous colors radiating out from the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light blue and blue sky. The lower atmosphere was hazy and plume of white smoke was in the Southern sky, probably from the Fresno wild fire. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball field while Labrona and her rabbit family were grazing in and out of the fence by the basketball court. William Uribe turned on the sprinkler on the soccer field and the rabbits moved to graze on the baseball field. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and they were running around the camp begging for food from the inmates. As the morning progressed, the wind became stronger. Walked 5 miles and jogger the final mile. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 59 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 10 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 2 seconds per mile. The pace was fast as i worked up a sweat and had to walk a few extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:40 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well but she did not have a good nights rest. She walked 8047 steps, 16.4 inches step length and symmetry was 89%. Yesterday was the 158th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will walk inside to avoid the smoke. She will called DOJ and Thomas Johnson. Had some donuts and nutty bar for snacks. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: Fried fish sandwich, kale, macaroni and cheese and water. Went to warehouse to secure inventory for the sewing room. As we will have 7 new inmates joining us on Monday from the bus.
