How am I serving my community?
I am serving my community by consistently preparing myself to face life challenges and by taking the opportunity to educate myself for a brighter future.
What I mean is that in order to succeed in and after release from prison, I have to put a plan together and prepare myself to serve and give back to the community.
Taking accountability and striving to help others around me creates a positive ripple effect.
I have obtained my BA degree with a legal emphasis since being incarcerator, but all that does not mean anything if I do not have a plan, change my thinking and make more rational decisions that have a positive or more desired outcome.
with that being said, I am on my road to success and I am a pillar and role model for other individuals to follow. I am proud of the direction in life I am going.
